Singleton Piano Studio respects the privacy of visitors to our Web site. We do not resell, trade or share any information provided by our visitors with any other entity. All information, other than information intended for publication, is confidential. Following is a list of types of information that may be recorded on our site and the purposes for which the information is used:
 
  • Standard web server logs: All accesses to our web server are recorded by software standard to our Web server platform. Machine internet protocol (IP) address, file accessed and time of access are recorded. This information is used only for system load and activity accounting. No user-based tracking records are kept.
     
  • Detailed User Statistics: Detailed daily, monthly and yearly user statistics are kept. These contain no personal information and will only be used to keep track of when users visit our site. These include categories such as web site hits, files transferred, pages transferred, web site visits, total web sites, and kilobytes transferred as well as entry pages, referrers, and browser name.
     
  • Forum policies: The IP address of all posts is recorded to help enforce forum rules stated at the time of registering. This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one). Some information used in the forum is stored in a database on the web server. This is used only to enhance the experience of the forum. Other forum-specific rules and regulations are stated at the time of registering.
     

  • Mailing Lists: The mailing lists used by Singleton Piano Studio, Lynn Singleton, and the webmaster are not made public to anyone except for the administrators. We will not distribute or use your name or email address for anything other than its intended use. Your password is stored on the server in plain text, but we will never see this. However, it is a good idea to use a different password than your normal ones. You are always free to change your settings on the Mailing List configuration page. Only people from Singleton Piano Studio will email an entire mailing list unless approved by a moderator. If you have any concerns, please feel free to Contact Us.
     

  • Electronic mail and Contact Us: Any and all email and form submissions sent through the Contact Us page will be kept for Singleton Piano Studio's purpose only. We will not share email addresses with anyone other than Singleton Piano Studio. When submitting a request via the Contact Us page, your browser type and current date and time are recorded for diagnostics purposes only.
